Officers and deputies are watching for speeding and those who aren`t buckled up. They say with more people hitting the road tomorrow, they want everyone to get home safe.
"This is typically the part of the year when we begin our summer enforcement campaign,” said Sgt. Roy Bailey of the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department. “We do have seat belt enforcement going on this weekend. We will have additional officers out on the road observing traffic and enforcing occupant safety protection laws."
Any drivers or passengers who aren`t wearing seatbelts can be issued a $20 citation.
